With the latest and most comprehensive One Touch technology, the Jura-Capresso IMPRESSA S9 One Touch lets you make cappuccino, café mocha, latte or latte macchiato with the simple touch of one button, without moving the cup. It can grind, tamp and brew delicious crema coffee or espresso – in seconds, one or two cups at a time, ½ to 16 ounces – fresher than in a coffee bar. The IMPRESSA S9 One Touch with two stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock heating systems and its large 96 ounce water capacity makes easy work out of espresso based drinks and frothed milk drinks, with no down time.

All coffee, frothing and hot water functions are completely programmable, and you can set temperature, coffee volume and coffee strength for each button. The IMPRESSA S9 One Touch includes a separate coffee funnel for ground coffee and a hot water dispenser for Café Americano or tea. It comes equipped with a commercial-grade conical burr grinder, automatic cleaning cycles and the CLEARYL water filtration system to purify water and eliminate the need for decalcification. A large cup warming platform pre-warms your cups. An LED dialog system with graphics and electronic sensors add to its ease of use.

The IMPRESSA S9 One Touch can be set to seven different languages, displays cup size and time in European and American formats, keeps track of all activities and can be set to turn on and off automatically. Automated cleaning programs remind the user when to run rinse and cleaning cycles, including integrated cappuccino rinsing and cleaning cycles. All settings and activities are permanently stored in its built-in memory system.

The Impressa frothXpress System

The frothXpress system helps you to prepare perfect cappuccinos and lattes cup after cup. This system is already installed on your S9. It automatically siphons milk from your cold milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your cappuccino cups. Turn the dial of the frothXpress from “cappuccino” (12 o’clock position) to “latte” (6 o’clock position) and the frothXpress will deliver hot steamed milk with very little or no froth for that delicious latte.

Programmable!
Program the steam button anywhere from 2 to 120 seconds, e.g. 14 seconds. From now on frothing will stop after 14 seconds. This way you will always have the same amount of hot frothed milk in your cup. No more wasted milk. Always the same taste! (During frothing you can always stop or prolong steaming using the rotary dial).
Fill as many cups as you want then add your shot of espresso and serve identical lattes or cappuccinos.

Temperature control!
For that extra hot Cappuccino or Latte move the frothXpress Dial from the 12 or 6 o’clock setting towards the 2 or 4 o’clock setting. This will increase overall milk temperature. Turning the dial to the 3 o’clock setting will completely stop the flow of milk. Only hot steam will come out.

Energy Saving Modes
Choose from three energy settings, both heating systems always in stand-by for immediate use of the coffee or the steam heating block, or set the machine to automatically lower either the steam heating block or both heating blocks if you don’t use it all the time. This will save energy. Push any button and the S9 One Touch will heat up in less than 20 seconds.
