Return Procedures
Follow your any return instructions in your owners manual in addendum to these procedures. Please read these procedures, in totality, prior to shipping products to aLatteHotte:
  • Semi Automatic Espresso Machines
    • Make sure your machine is cold and has not been used for at least two hours before continuing.
    • Unplug the machine from the power source. Remove any parts that are removable, such as the Portafilter, Drip Tray, Water Tank, and/or any additional items.
    • Turn all switches/buttons off, plug the machine into the power source. Turn the power back on.
    • Find a receptacle that can hold up to fifteen ounces of water, such as a large frothing pitcher or a cooking pot and place it underneath the steam wand.
    • Activate the machines pump by opening the steam wand, let the water receptacle you have chosen catch the water that is expelled.
    • Let all of the water drain from the machine into the receptacle until there is no longer any water or steam flowing from your machine.
    • Turn all switches/buttons off and unplug the machine.
    • You're machine should be properly drained, proceed to the shipping instructions.
  • Super Automatic Espresso Machines
    • Make sure your machine is cold and has not been used for at least two hours before continuing.
    • Turn on your machine and allow it to completely heat up prior to continuing. When your machine is ready for steaming, you are ready to continue.
    • Find a receptacle that can hold up to fifteen ounces of water, such as a large frothing pitcher or a cooking pot and place it underneath the steam wand.
    • Activate the machines pump by opening the steam wand, let the water receptacle you have chosen catch the water that is expelled.
    • Remove the water tank. Simply pull it out while the steam wand is steaming.
    • Let all of the water drain from the machine into the receptacle until there is no longer any water or steam flowing from your machine.
    • Important! Remove all beans from your bean hopper (where the beans are stored), using a vacuum makes this a simple task.
    • Please rinse your brew group prior to shipping, preventing coffee grounds from littering the internals of the machine.
    • You're machine should be properly drained and ready, proceed to the shipping instructions.
  • Step ONE: Request an Return Merchandise Authorization. From within your aLatteHotte account, Select the order you are referencing and then choose "Request Return Manufacturer Authorization (RMA Number)" at the bottom of the page, to begin the process. As soon as you are granted an RMA number, simply write the number on the return box. As soon as the product arrives at our doorstep, we will quickly review the return and refund your payment, generally within one business day. You must generate your own RMA number by using your online aLatteHotte account. Contact Us if you need any assistance.
  • Step TWO: Package the machine in its original packaging, including all original items and documentation. Seal the box securely with shipping tape. Place the original box into the "Overpack Carton." If the box is not transported in the overpack carton, you will be responsible for any damages incurred during shipment.
  • Step THREE: Ship the package with UPS or FedEx. A tracking number must be provided to aLatteHotte for documentation purposes. Make Sure that you fully insure the package with the shipper, in the event of shipping damages, you will not be responsible.
  • You may easily track all communication through our help center located inside your account. You can post tracking numbers and a host of other items in our help center.
Returning Products to Manufacturers
  • Step ONE: Request an Return Merchandise Authorization. contact the manufacturer regarding the return. Contact Us if you need any assistance. The manufacturers telephone numbers are listed below if you can not locate the information in the product manual.
  • Step TWO: Package the machine in its original packaging, including all original items and documentation. Seal the box securely with shipping tape. Place the original box into the "Overpack Carton." If the box is not transported in the overpack carton, you will be responsible for any damages incurred during shipment.
  • Step THREE: Ship the package with UPS or FedEx to the addresses you are instructed to send them to from the manufacturer. Make Sure that you fully insure the package with the shipper, in the event of shipping damages, you will not be responsible.
